okay. so hopefully you didn't have a heart attack that i didn't email you on monday...today was our temple trip so they switched our P day to today for this week. my apologies. you can cancel the funeral and the celebrations. :)
okay. little time, so forgive the lack of capitalization. and fluidity.
jairo got baptized on saturday!!! it went really well. he is so dang cool. he spent the whole day at home, fasting and reading his scriptures before his baptism. and it was all his idea. he got confirmed on sunday and is as stalwart as ever! we talked to him afterwards and he said he felt strong. awesome. :)
we had zone conference this week, which was great. the ware's are definitely different from the greers, but i LOVE LOVE LOVE them. they are so down to earth and so loving. i definitely connect with them better. okay funny thing: my first impression of my mission president? he was sitting there in the room while everyone was talking, and he leaned over to fix the podium and totally farted. he sat up and looked at his wife, and they just BUSTED up. me and sister love and AP Bennett were the only other ones who noticed and we were DYING. so dang funny. we couldn't even control ourselves.
so tonight we are doing a HUGE ward activity at the stake center for pioneer day. we had everyone in the ward invite friends to it. (we're expecting around 200 people) it's going to be dutch oven dinner/ice cream, pioneer games/activities, and guided church tours given by yours truly. we're stoked. we're going to get to talk to SO many people and show them around the church and bear our testimonies like crazy. i can't even wait.
that's awesome to hear about all the mission calls back home!! tell hailey i said congrats!!
oh we're getting taught how to make mexican food by a super cool lady in our ward. i'm pumped. we made elephant ears yesterday. yum.
